Founder? Stone Bruises? Coronet band “itis”
I thought maybe laminitis from fresh green grass
However his neck was not cresty
But his hocks were full of heat.
I failed to get a photo of his bubbly gummy white
Coronet bands. Fronts were the worst.
We but him in dry paddock for two days with bute.
I cleaned his feet and lower legs with Betadine
Then sprayed on Purple spray.
Hoof armor was applied to all hooves.
2 days later he was bouncing around like a puppy
Insisting to be released from jail.
Now I haven't seen him in 4 days ☹️
We will see what he is up to today!
