The Proof is in the Photo

FINALLY on board!!!!
It has been almost 4 years ago since I "flew" off of Falcon and broke my ribs.
We had a nice quiet start today.
A long session of walking and practicing turns.
My only complaint is Mike's "FAT" round reins...but he is the "boss" for now!  : )

AND it was 65 degrees today!
Not sure why I had my coat on-security blanket maybe???

Yay! I'm so happy for you :) Nothing like finally getting back on board.

Love the title of your blog, by the way - I've always wanted to try endurance, but something always seems to throw a spanner in the works.

Thank you so much for your kind comment!! We're very close in age, and I'm happy to see that someone else doesn't feel old at our age. :)
Wish I had an elliptical, but will just have to stick with walking. You're getting a new saddle - how exciting!! I'd LOVE to have a saddle with a close-fitting Wade tree in it!! Someday, I will...too many other expenses right now though. My saddle is one I've had for over 30 years now, and it's in good shape and comfortable. Just not as close contact as I'd prefer. We had a very unusually warm day on Sunday as well. Don't know what the thermometer said, but the sunshine was brilliant and my sweatshirt was all I needed. I did my fair share of basking and soaking up the rays. Delicious!! Tomorrow we're warming up and they're predicting freezing rain...oh boy. Back to that...
Happy belated Birthday to you!!! :)

congrats! I knew you'd get there. The beginning of a new chapter (or entire book) and new adventures.

Thanks for all of your support...It seems like I am always starting over! But I am glad I gave Falcon and myself another chance...we will see where it takes us...
